1 lb. ground beef

salt & pepper to taste

2 cloves of garlic (minced)

1 egg

1/4 cup grated romano cheese

1/4 cups chopped fresh parsley

1/4 cup bread crumbs

1 cup cooked, chopped spinach

2 cups tomato sauce

1) Fry ground beef with a little oil. As beef is cooking, break it up in small pieces.

2) Transfer beef to a large mixing bowl. Add salt, pepper, and garlic. Mix well. Add egg, cheese, parsley, bread crumbs, and more salt to taste.

3) Squeeze water out of cooked spinach and chop. Add spinach and 1/2 cup tomato sauce.

4) Spread some tomato sauce on the bottom of a baking pan. Stuff canelloni shells and place in pan. Spread more tomato sauce in between each layer and on the top.

5) Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour. Then, broil for 2−3minutes to brown top.
